The pesticide and fertilizer registration can take from one to four years, depends on product itself, on the dossier, completeness of dossier, means the number of studies that you already have, and the country. The number of years required for registration depend on the number of seasons required for field trials in each country. For fertilizers, Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus, it is required to have one season of field trials, which means that overall procedure will take around year and a half. For pesticides, for Ukraine, the time is absolutely the same as for fertilizers, one season of field trials, one year and a half the whole procedure. For Russia and Belarus, two seasons are required, which mean the total procedure will take around 2 1/2 years. In case your product is completely new to the market and none of similar products were ever registered in the country, two seasons of field trials required in each country, including Ukraine. Some reports and some studies will take a little bit longer time, so the whole procedure will take from 2,5 years to 3,5 years. And one more thing I want to bring your attention to, I highly recommend you to start preparation of the documents that you are going to submit to authorities approximately six months before the application deadline.
