In Ukraine, for both fertilizers and pesticides, one season of field trials is required in one or two locations, depends on product. Normally, one location of field trials and one year of residue studies are enough for registration purposes. For Russia, for fertilizers, one season of field trials and in two locations. For pesticides, two seasons of field trials are required, and in three locations each year (6 residue studies). There were cases when some of the products didn’t show any results in some locations, possibly due to some weather conditions. So if your product is completely new to the market and never registered before, I would recommend you to consider one more location plus.
