If you are considering buying product registrations in Ukraine, first you should know that there are several types of dossier transfer after such a purchase. And first is when the company accepts the full transfer of the dossier and registration rights. Second, when Company buys only access to the data, to the studies and reports. So in this case, the Company has limited rights, but still able to become the Registration Holder of the product. In both cases, the official letters from existing and future registration holders has to be submitted to the authorities, stating the transfer and acceptance of the transfer. Second, make sure that all the Registration Certificates, copies of Trade Labels, copies of sanitary epidemiological conclusions and all the studies are available. I also would recommend you to ask for the application form that was submitted to the authorities, when the product was registered for the first or last time. Third, the legislation is constantly changing and it may happen that some of the products that are already registered are no longer meeting the requirements in order to make any changes to the registration. Additional studies will be required. Usually, in most of the cases, so studies will be ecological studies like fish, alga, bees and others, depends on the product. Normally those studies will take two to three months. In case you do not need any additional studies, the actual transfer from the date of submitting the application to the authorities to the date of obtaining the Registration Certificate, will take from two to three months.
