Samples can not be imported into Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, or Georgia without obtaining samples import permit or approval from the Ministry or institute (depend on product and country). In order to submit the application or request for such an approval, the product has to be already in the Test Plan, and there should be agreements already signed with the Institutes who are going to conduct the studies. This means that obtaining samples permit always follows the submission of the application for registration to the Ministry, and signing the agreements, which is usually around March, April, May, each year. The approximate quantities of samples can be calculated after the dossier assessment when it’s clear what other studies are required. The exact quantities of samples of formulation, active ingredient, and analytical standard are confirmed by the Institutes on the stage of signing the agreements. I highly recommend you to keep your samples prepared so that you could send them straightaway after the approval is obtained.
