If you already have your pesticides or fertilizers registered in European Union, you’re probably asking yourself if there is a recognition procedure in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, or Georgia to make it easier to register your products. Unfortunately, such a procedure exists only in Georgia. For Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, there is no such thing. Another question you may ask if there is a recognition procedure, kind of, between these countries, if some reports from one country can be accepted in another country. And yes, there is. Some of the reports done in one country can be accepted in another country. Not all of them. For example, field trials and residue studies must be done only locally. It is a smart decision to start product registration simultaneously in several countries. Of course, it depends on your budget, but this is how you can save your time and money in the end.
